Summer Shootout Series to Headline Friday Night Test and Tunes
Another exciting program set to begin in 2022! With our Friday night Test and Tunes added to the Bracket Weekends, we wanted to rev it up a little! Now racers will have another way to win!
This year on four select Friday night Test & Tunes, we will run the Summer Shootout Series in conjunction with racers testing. The series will offer a sign-up date on our Facebook page. This sign-up will give racer the opportunity to register.
Registration will take place ONLY on our U.S. 13 Dragway Facebook page. It will be a 5 day sign up period, beginning on Monday at 9 am until Friday 5 pm. Those names will then be recorded for a LIVE Drawing on the U.S. 13 Dragway Facebook page the following Wednesday night. All drawings will begin at 7 pm. We will also draw 5 alternate names in case a racer is not able to make the event. Racers chosen must contact the office by the Friday following the Wednesday night announcement to pre pay for your spot. This will give our office staff time to ensure all spots are filled and appropriate paperwork will be ready for you in the tower the day of the race.
Special Note: Top ET, the final shootout is scheduled for Friday, September 9th. This will be incorporated with “Jerry Ketterman’s� Bad 8 & $5000 to win Top ET. On this Friday night, we will increase the field from 32 to 64. The entry fee will increase to $200, paying out $5000 to the winner! We have done this due to the increased car count we usually have for Jerry’s race.
Another addition to our bracket program will be the front gate being open “all night� for teams to enter. With racers traveling to support our program, we welcome them anytime they arrive.
