Delaware International Speedway Ready To Roar in 2021

Delaware International Speedway Ready To Roar in 2021

Delaware International will kick off another season this April, and by doing so will try to resume a “normal” full season. After the Covid-shortened season of 2020 racers will be happy to get back to their normal weekly Saturday night dirt track racing in the first state. However, the 2020 season still continues to linger as state stipulations and mandates still do not allow for an Awards Banquet to celebrate the accomplishments of the shortened season. Champions and top finishers in the 5 weekly divisions can expect an update in the coming days about awards and prize money.

A Test and Tune open to all classes will kick off the 2021 season on April 3rd . Wheel to wheel racing action will begin with the return of the Raelyn Huffman Memorial RUSH Late Model Series “Battle of the Bay” on April 14th. Delaware Dirt Modifieds will race for $2,000 to win and Delaware Super Trucks & Little Lincolns will accompany the RUSH Crate Late Models during their premier mid-week event. Another Test and Tune on April 17th will give racers one more chance to dial in their machines before the return of the Short Track Super Series Diamond State 50 on Tuesday, April 28th with the STSS South Series Modifieds, 602 Sportsman, Southern Delaware Vintage Cars, and Delaware Super Trucks all on hand.
