COASTAL QUICK 16 SERIES TO BREAK RECORDS IN 2024

Coming this fall, if you love fast door slammers, the U.S.13 Dragway will be the place to be, for the all new “Coastal Quick 16 Series” featuring some of the fastest door cars in the Mid-Atlantic region. Four big weekends, 8 races and a points series for the Top 5! This event will give spectators one for the record books.

"This has been in the works for a while now," states Mark Cathell, promoter of the U.S.13 Dragway. We have a core group of drivers that have supported our efforts the past couple of years. Events like Jerry Ketterman’s Bad 8 has always been a fan favorite and inspired us to step up the game for our fans!

This 8-race series will kick-off on the 61st Anniversary Chevy Show, Shine and Drags weekend. It will cover 4 weekends, qualifying the fastest 16 Door Cars. A Pro-Ladder will pair the qualifiers for a 4-round shoot-out on Saturday and Sunday. The finals will take place on November 2 & 3, Sunday, November 3, one driver will receive the Coastal Quick 16 Belt and Points Champion bragging rights.
