By Charlie Brown, Delmar, DE – Jerry Ketterman’s Quick 8 Footbrake Challenge was a big success on Friday night at the U.S. 13 Dragway and coming out on top was Jim Williams of Seaford, Del. Foskey, Jr. was solid with a 10.186/128.09 on a 10.18 dial but would have had to be perfect to beat Thurman. Semi-finalist was Humphrey Maddox, Jr. who lost to Foskey, Jr. while Thurman had the bye.

Drew Birch rode up against Marquise Blake in the Pro Bike final. Birch had the better reaction in the heads-up run which capped the win with an 8.820/152.74. Blake was late at the start and ran an 8.779/156.63 on the 8.00 dial. Semi-finalist was Harvey Powell who lost to Blake.
