US 13 SET FOR BIG PAYOUT HALLOWEEN SHOOTOUT WEEKEND

 

 

By Chad Cathell: The final event of the 2014 Season is upon us already, and the US 13 Dragway is in full swing for what is sure to be the biggest money weekend of the year. The Halloween Shootout has always been a big success in years past, and the Cathell family wanted to take it one step further by upping the stakes. On Saturday and Sunday drivers will be allowed to Double Enter their cars in either the Super, Pro, or Street divisions, and they will also have First and Second round buy backs. US 13 asks that drivers wishing to double enter be Prompt and On Time to keep the show moving as quickly and efficiently as possible. Payouts have been upped in every class to include Jr. Dragsters for the first time! Big money will be on the line, and drivers from all around are expected to pour in. Round money will start with 4th round loser in all Money Classes. Saturday, gates open at 10 am and Time Runs begin at 11 am. Sunday, gates open at 9 am, and Time Runs will start at 10 am. All classes except Hot Rod Trophy will have 1 time run, and Hot Rod Trophy will receive two. No camping will be allowed inside the track overnight, however free camping is available outside the gates, but does not include any hookups.
